Write for us! Shaw-Script is a reader-run magazine and would not exist without the support of the community.

We are looking for submissions in the following areas:

  • Fiction, both original and transliterations of public-domain works
  • Nonfiction on general subjects
  • Essays on topics related to the Shavian alphabet, its history and use, spelling, and resources for writing and typing in Shavian
  • Poetry
  • Calligraphy and art based on the Shavian alphabet
  • Announcements of new publications in or about Shavian

We request that prose submissions be no shorter than 400 and no longer than 5000 words. Because poetry has some unique requirements, the length restrictions do not apply to poetry submissions.

All work must be submitted, as .docx or .txt document files, by email to shawscripteditor@gmail.com. We welcome experimentation, so we will not reject any submission on the basis of spelling or grammar.

The deadline for the April issue is March 15, 2022.
